Welcome to the Feddinch Medical Practice website. Our practice is located within the new Community Hospital in Largo Road. With more than 9,000 patients, it is one of three serving the St Andrews community, and last year was awarded the RCGP Quality Practice Award for the second time. The website is intended to provide some additional support to our normal service and we hope you find it useful and helpful. Don't know where the Community Hospital is? See the map.
Seasonal Flu Injections
You are eligible for a flu injection if you are or will be over 65 years of age by the end of March 2013, or if you have a long-term or chronic illness, or if you are pregnant. We can check your eligibility if you are unsure - unfortunately we are not able to offer the vaccination to anyone outside of these groups.
Incoming call barring on telephones
Will those patients who have telephones which barr incoming calls please note that we are now unable to access a mechanism for returning any requests you give us for return calls. Please advise us at the time of making a request an alternative contact, such as a mobile number.
The practice opens one evening per week from 6.00 to 8.15. Please note that any appointments made for such sessions are intended for those unable to visit the surgery during the day. Note, too, that the session is purely an appointment based facility - i.e., there will be no repeat prescription service. There will be no receptionist on duty so please either use the 'self check in' system or take a seat and wait for the doctor to call your name.
Patients arriving more than 15 minutes late for their appointment will not be seen and should telephone the Practice the next day to make alternative arrangements.
We’re all interested in the ageing effects of time and environment on our skin but did you know that simple treatments can offer a quick route to reducing that impact?
Dr Karen Graham has 20 years of minor surgical experience and has been trained by one of the most successful aesthetic practitioners in Scotland. She is now offering B***x® and dermal filler treatments for clients.
Karen currently has an offer on B***x for new clients.
Further information and current price list can be found at our practice reception or telephone Karen on 01334 476840.
Monday - Friday 8:30-6:00. An additional evening session from 6:00-8:15 takes place one evening per week. Call 01334 476840 to book an appointment. Find out more about booking an appointment
Results of tests such as blood, urine and x-rays are available by telephone from noon to 12.45 pm daily, when one of the practice nurses will take your call. More detailed advice can usually be obtained by making an appointment with the nurse. Between 3.00pm and 5.00pm our reception staff can give out results, but may ask you to phone back later if it is not a satisfactory/normal result. For all results, please call 465635.
